New Lights Painting Prize 2011 (1st prize)
New Lights is a charity prize formed in 2011, was opened to artists age between 23-35 who either live or gained an art degree in the North of England. The biennial prize is awarded by a panel of independent judges, to the northern artist judged to be the most exceptional with the most potential to succeed professionally. The prize comprises a mixture of money (£10,000), guidance and mentoring from a successful professional artist and exposure.
Graduate Studio Northumbria: (2011-2013)
Awarded a two-year studio fellowship (Graduate Studio Northumbria), a studio for graduate artists to develop their practice and activate professional contacts across the arts, business and community networks.
